Woof!! My name is Scooby and I am 5 years old. I live with three other dogs and we like to hang out at the dogpark.
People always ask
what kind of dog I am. I tell them I am the happy kind, but what they
really want to know is that I am half German Shepherd and half
Greyhound. That means that I am very smart, and very fast. Boy can I
run!
I used to be a stray dog, and one day I was hurt very badly. A kind lady
took me to the vet and got me fixed up, then brought me to a rescue
group. There I found my new Mom, and now we're best friends! She takes
me to places where I get to visit with people, and I like that better
than treats. We visit people in nursing homes and hospitals, but my
favorite places to visit are schools and libraries because I really love
kids and good stories.
