My name is Sam (you know like green eggs and ham Sam). When I was a little puppy I was picked up by an animal shelter in New Mexico. They couldn’t find me a family in New Mexico. Lucky for me a group of people from the Denver Dumb Friends League busted me out of that place! They took me to Denver Colorado and introduced me to my family, Marcus, Kim, Tony and Alex. I had lots of fun playing in the snow in Colorado, but we had to move because of Dad’s job.

So now we live in Tennessee and I get to READ! YAY ME! I really like to hear stories and visit with people.

Most of the time I like to sleep: I’m not a lazy dog, but I do believe in the conservation of momentum. (In other words I don’t want to move unless I have to.) Sometimes though I like to play; I like to play with my toys, and I like to eat. I really, really like to go outside for walks, and sometimes like my friend Silvi I like to chase (but not catch) rabbits and squirrels. One time I almost caught a skunk. That was not a very fun time!!! It made me cry a lot and no one would pet me because I smelled so bad. Dad had to wash me lots and lots of times. So don’t chase skunks! OK?
