Sniff Sniff!

Hi my name is Ferris!  I am a greyhound.  I was born in Colorado, but later moved to Florida.  I was raised on a racetrack where people tried to get me to chase a pretend rabbit around a track.  I didn't enjoy racing so my family "rescued" me!

I am only three years old.  I have one older miniature schnauzer brother named Sanford and a sister miniature schnauzer named Pixie.  Pixie likes to try to boss me around ALL the time! I rarely bark but I love to sniff and smell everything!  Did you know greyhounds are the only breed of dogs mentioned in the Bible?

I love to go for rides in cars, eat and sleep!  Zzzzzz  My mom reads to me all the time and I often fall asleep when listening to her because I love to imagine the places in the story with my eyes closed! I can't wait to meet you and have you read to me!
