Woof Woof!

Hi kids!

My name is Daisy, and I am a 4 year old Goldendoodle. What's a Goldendoodle, you ask? Well, my mom was a Golden Retriever and my dad was a red Standard Poodle. I am considered a "hybrid" dog, and have the best characteristics of both of my parents. I have my mom's sweet Golden Retriever personality and her fabulous "feathery tail". I have my dad's Poodle smarts, and non-shedding coat. I'm also easy on the allergies, thanks to my dad. Most think that my red color came from my mom, but actually, my Poodle parent gives me my coat color. And so I am a red Doodle while most other Goldendoodles are white.

My favorite games to play are catch and keep-away. My favorite toy is my red Chuck-It ball. I chew it like bubble gum. It's the best! I love kids - I have two in my human family. They like to lay on me like a pillow while they read books, watch TV and play Wii. I don't mind. I just love being with them!

My human mom trained me as a therapy dog when we lived in Georgia and we used to visit kids in the hospital. At first, they were a little nervous because I'm so tall. But after they met me and patted my soft fur, they weren't afraid at all. My human dad calls me a "rug with legs" because I'll mostly just lay down and let you pet my super soft fur.
