Woof woof woof!

Hi!  My name is Millie.  Millie is what my friends call me, but my real name is Millie's Gift because I was a gift from my Mom's family.  They did not want her to be too lonesome.  I was born in December almost three years ago.

I am a Miniature Schnauzer.  That means I weigh less than 20 pounds.  What I lack in size I make up for in spirit.  I usually do what I am told.  I can sit, stay, and retrieve.  I go to obedience class every week.  I visit assisted living homes and spread the love to those lonely folks.  To make them chuckle, I jump through a sparkly hoop, then take a bow.  It is the EASY button that they really like.  I tap it with my paw.  Playing dead is always a joke, but it brings smiles to all the folks.

I like to travel in the Jeep to the mountains.  It is so sweet!  Mom and I and the African Gray (a loud-mouthed bird that barks and whistles and does crazy antics) live together.  We go to work nearly every day.  I do get some time to play with Cricket, Lilly and Cassie.  They are also Miniature Schnauzers.  Cricket and I play my favorite game, tug-of-war, with the stuffed dog toys.  Sometimes I let her win!  My favorite thing to do is run and play chase with friendly dogs.  I like to compete at dog show in Rally and Obedience.  I am going to learn agility too.  Remaining alert is my special talent.  I have to help Mom hear some sounds.  It is my job to let her know if there is anything coming around.  Sneaky cats especially, try to come in my pet door and eat my food.  That isn't very nice.  I hope you will come and READ to me.  That is a wonderful way for me to hear books.  My favorite stories are about LaRue.  HE has lots of adventures!
