My name is Hector and I'm a four year old Sheltie.  I live with my Mom and Dad and my brother Samson. I like to play ball and frisbee and go to the dog park to play with my dog friends.  Tug of war is my favorite game to play with my brother Samson!   

I have been visiting people in nursing homes since I was two.  I love to do this because from the time I enter the door everyone wants to pet me and tell me how handsome I am!! 

I am a really special dog.  I will go right up to someone and lay my head on their knee...then I can watch their face light up!  Then they start telling me about all the dogs that they once had!  It's really rewarding to know that I am bringing a little joy to someone's day.
